PermEscape Is The Perfect Solution

Did you know that children five and under make up about 7% of the country's population, yet they account for 14% of home fire deaths, assigning them a risk twice the national average.
Lets face it, nobody wants to deal with a fire in their home. It can happen so quickly that before you can think of what to do, you could end up losing the things you've worked hard for, especially your loved ones. Your family needs a set plan of how to handle this type of situtation. If you prepare your home beforehand, you can avoid this potentially life devastating situation.

Fire Prevention
Be aware of all potentially flammable materials and heated objects in your home.

  • clothes dryers

  • furnaces

  • space heaters

  • fireplaces

  • kitchen appliances

  • You should know the location of all of these items and be sure to know when they are on and off. Overloaded electrical systems, frayed wires, extension cords and blown fuses represent just a small percentage of the electrical hazards that commonly start fires.

    Fire Alarms
The presence of fire alarms on every floor of your home will decrease your chance of coming in harms way. You should test the alarm batteries once every month and change them every year. You should consider replacing your entire smoke alarm system every ten years. The malfunctioning of older alarm systems is one of the top causes of fire-related injuries.

    Have a Fire Escape Plan
Practicing your escape routes will greatly enhance your chances of getting out without injury. Practice and a plan will safeguard you in the event of an emergency. Ensure that your windows are not stuck and that all screens can be removed quickly and easily by your children. Once you have a PermEscape system installed in your home, you and your children should run practice drills. Consider it fun family time!
